Crofton Art Group

Members work in whatever medium they enjoy, from watercolour and acrylic to pastel, pencil and mixed media. Alongside our regular painting sessions we run a programme of demonstrations by visiting professional artists.

There is no requirement to have painted before. Bring the materials you have and someone will always be happy to help you get started. We have art materials for you to try and practice with and some resources to give you inspiration.

We are delighted to show some of our members’ artwork in the gallery. Please note that the usual copyright regulations apply to this artwork.

We usually meet twice a month on Friday afternoons, 1pm to 4pm, at Crofton community centre. There is parking on site and the hall is on one level with step-free access.

Currently charges are as follows: Annual membership: £18 payable in January. If joining in the Autumn the membership fee is £8.

Our year of activities mixes regular Meet to Paint sessions with visiting artists and social events. Recent work from these sessions can be seen in the gallery.

Bookings in advance are not required if members wish to attend a Meet to Paint Session or a Demonstration. Bookings are only necessary if you wish to attend a workshop or a social event.
