About the Group

Crofton Art Group was founded by a small handful of local artists who wanted somewhere regular and unpressured to work together. Twenty years on we are still a voluntary group, run entirely by its members.

How the Group Is Run

A committee elected at the Annual General Meeting looks after the programme, the finances and the venue. Every member is welcome to stand for the committee or simply to suggest something they would like the group to do.

What to Expect at a Session

A typical Friday is quiet and sociable. People bring their own work in progress, set up at a table and paint. There is no set subject and no tuition unless a workshop or demonstration is scheduled.
